Electric Co., Ltd. announces a significant partnership with The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (Public Organization), or GIT, to elevate knowledge and commercial application in gemstone color grading, utilizing advanced lighting technology. This initiative is aimed at addressing the industry’s increasing demand for accurate and standardized color grading. They have researched and developed a new standard lighting technology featuring LED lamps, meticulously designed to simulate natural daylight conditions as closely as possible, which is a critical factor in accurately assessing the color value of gemstones. This collaboration is part of an in-depth research project on the effects of various light sources, comparing traditional fluorescent lamps with the new light-emitting diode (LED) lamps.

Featuring 365 nm light waves and a design engineered for precise inspection, coupled with Flicker-Free lighting for reliable gemstone analysis. Developed in collaboration with GIT.

This instrument is specifically used for observing the long-wave fluorescence (LWUV) of diamonds.
It provides sufficient light intensity to detect fluorescence in various gemstones, utilizing a primary wavelength of 365 nanometers (BLB – Blacklight Blue).
Users will not be distracted by visible blue light pollution typically associated with the UV spectrum.
It includes top-down illumination combined with a black “Black Light” viewing surface, which further enhances the visibility of fluorescence.
